When you are sorrowful look again in your heart,
and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

  5. Mary,

I thought of you yesterday morning ~ knowing you woke to sweet memories of so many happy May 14ths. And I thought of your aching heart ~ knowing how much you miss your beautiful, spirited, smiling Erin. These days are hard.

I hope the blood drive went well ~ what a wonderful way to celebrate Erin!

    Happy Birthday Erin!

  6. The blood drive was fantastic! You do everything with grace and style. And maybe even a little bit of class! (like the candle, perfect!) Hope you felt all the love and support yesterday. Cake was gooood!

  7. Thank you Carol. As one who also walks the same daily path as I do, you certainly understand the bittersweet emotions of these birthdays. Yes... so hard, but as Margaret wrote/hoped for us, we did feel the love and support at yesterday's blood drive... many times over.

So glad your walk was such a success. I LOVED the pictures - with the spirit of Caroline Grace shining brightly as well.

    Hugs to you Carol.
